THE LIGHT BRIGADE

Over 20 years ago, several Mounds View High School football parents ('83-'86) formed a group to raise money to put up lights (1986) at Mustang Stadium. This group was called "The Light Brigade" and over the next 20 years it raised millions of dollars to pay for many projects including: home bleachers (1988), concession and storage building (1991) and visitor bleachers (1993).

The Light Brigade continued to raise money up until this year when it dissolved. Overall, this group of parents has raised over 2.9 million dollars for the Mounds View School District.
