Aaron Moberg - Head Varsity JV Defensive Line Coach

Purpose for Coaching: My purpose is to build men of character and empathy who will live lives built on loving and serving others.

Favorite memory as a Coach: Two that stand out; Going to state in 2019 with a special group of guys and getting to the girls State Hockey Tournament in 2014 as head coach of the Mustangs.

Favorite memory as an athlete: Making it to the D3 Final Four at Bethel, beat Central (Iowa) in a snowstorm in the regional final

Purpose for Coaching: To teach life lessons through sports, and help create people of strong character who are ready for the challenges that life will bring them on and off the field

Favorite memory as a Coach: Dinner with my offensive line group after qualifying for the State Tournament in 2019. Winning Conference title with Maple Lake, 1st time in school history

Favorite memory as an athlete: Scoring the game winning goal versus North St. Paul after being down 5 goals in the 3rd period

Favorite memory as an athlete: Getting an opportunity to play in the Prep Bowl.

Favorite memory as a coach: Not one single memory that stands out. Watching the growth and development of young athletes, on and off the field is the most rewarding part of this job.

Purpose in coaching: My purpose is to aid in the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of young people. Coaching is all about developing great habits and skills that translate well beyond the field.

Purpose in coaching: To help students with their basic fundamentals of football and to help students reach their personal goals. I enjoy all the different things football offers: Teamwork, discipline, determination, and camaraderie.
